Interview with Alexey Kirienko (Axelforex)

The Participant of the Automated Trading Championship 2007 from Kyrgyzstan Aleksey Kirienko is the leader of The Championship already for the second week. The development of his Expert Advisor for the contest took quite a long time. "The secret here is that we should use traditional and famous matters in accordance with our own needs, making alterations that can solve our task – in such a case they will be very useful".

Hello, Alexey. Your start is excellent; the result is astonishing for just a second week of the Championship. Is it luck or precise calculations?
I think both. Though, it was rather calculations since it took much time to develop and prepare thoroughly the Expert Advisor. As a result, the start was quite a good one!

Is programming your main occupation?
No, not the main one. But I have a good experience in this sphere – earlier I was developing software for banks. Now my work is connected with the management of IT-projects.

Well, and how does this experience help you in trading?
MQL appeared to be quite a convenient and flexible tool for the automated trading, because the constant lack of spare time does not permit to trade in a classical way.

The EA works virtually the same on any chart timeframe as utilized timeframes are hard coded in the EA. I find this makes the EA more reliable.
