Danish Central Bank Aug currency reserves 180.0 bln dkr, dn 2.2 bln vs July
COPENHAGEN (AFX) - The Danish Central Bank said today its currency reserves in August totaled 180.0 bln dkr, down 2.2 bln dkr from July.
The change reflects the Central Bank's sale of foreign currency worth 0.8 bln dkr in month, while the state repaid loans abroad worth 1.4 bln dkr, it said.
Analysts polled by RB-Boersen had expected the currency reserves to have fallen to 180.2 bln dkr.
